Literally, for thousands of years, people have been polluting our water supply; using, abusing, and neglecting the very base of our lives.  Most people lack the basic knowledge we need to understand the scientific facts that explain how our water is gathered, treated, and delivered to us before we consume it and why.

Adam and Eve were lucky enough to take a drink of pure water from the stream before urinating the wastewater back into the water system.  This was the very beginnings of pollution.

There is the same amount of water in this world now as there was from day one.  The difference in our levels of pollution is the sheer number of people our planet is supporting.  There are 8 billion people intentionally and unintentionally polluting the water every day in thousands of different ways.  Now there are thousands of pollutants in our water every day that are detrimental to our health.

Cities flush the sewer into and down our rivers as a part of their waste management system.  This goes directly into the sources that supply us with our drinking water.  Sewage is, generally, treated liberally with chlorine before it is allowed into our drinking water supply.  This is extremely important in preparing the water for our consumption by killing bacteria and waterborne diseases.

Like we said the amount of water in our planet never changes, this has led to the modern means of water waste management.   The first recorded outbreak of a waterborne disease in western society occurred in London, England, in 1854.  This early epidemiology study by John Snow, a prominent local physician, determined that the consumption of water from a sewage-contaminated public well lead to cholera (Snow, 1854a,b).  This connection, decades before the germ theory of disease would be hypothesized and proven, was the first step to understanding that water contaminated with human sewage could harbor microorganisms that threaten public health.  Keeping our water clean and healthy has become a top priority.

Water studies lead to more research on water consumption and the interaction with our human bodies. Their studies and research open new facts about our drinking water.  The result of the research tells us that our health is in fact in jeopardy due to the poor condition of our drinking water.

Our body is a bio-diverse environment, containing trillions of cells, 78 different organs, and more than 60,000 miles of blood vessels working together to keep you alive.  Each cell is composed 75% water and fills a significant purpose within one of eleven body systems.  These body systems are interconnected and dependent upon one another to function and serve a common purpose.  Your heart does not beat unless your brain and nervous system tell it to do so.  So, when any cell, organ, or vessel is not working optimally it will put pressure on the rest of the system.  Working together, these systems maintain internal stability and balance, otherwise known as homeostasis.  Disease caused by poor water quality in our body systems can disrupt homeostasis and travel through on organ to another causing trouble in other body systems.

Our bodies are made of 70% water and depend on water to carry the food and nutrients we eat to all working organs creating strength, vitality, and nutrition.  Without purpose, procedure, and sufficient care, many of our organs fail.  These organs that are interdependent on each other consequently begin to fade causing ailments, failure, and disease.

Today’s water is not just bad but more a toxic cocktail containing 120,000 different chemicals and 129 carcinogens at any given time.  Poor water quality contains pollutants, (chlorine, lead trihalomethanes (TMS.) and E-coli.  The main problem people have is in the poor quality of water consumed.  Poor quality water makes people become dehydrated.  Dehydration causes organs to lack mineral and nutrient and fail.

The only reason your body acts thirsty.  Is because it needs hydration, if you happen to be hydrating with this toxic cocktail you may find temporary relief, but long-term issues begin to arise.

Our Body is 70% water

Our Blood is 90% water.

Our Bones are 31% water.

Our Interstitium is 50% water.

Your body depends on clean water to function properly.

If your weight is 150 lbs.  Seventy pounds of that weight is water.

Water distributes mineral and nutrients to your organs throughout your body.

Water also is used to wash out used cells and waste excrements from your body.

It is important to drink water cleaned through a Granulated Activated Carbon Filter.

Granulated Activated Carbon filter have the required minerals and nutrient to keep your body healthy.

Water is delivered by the interstitium organ to all parts of your body.

The water passes through very microscopic ventricles.  To allow the water to flow freely the water must be free of chlorine, bad chemical, and other pollution.  When water has pollutants, these microscopic ventricles can plug causing many more problems such as amputations and arthritis.

Your immune system relies on clean healthy water to fight off body invaders.

Your immune system is inherited and is activated from the moment you are born.  When the immune system recognizes an invader; it goes into action immediately.  The cells of the immune system surround the invader.  The invader is killed inside the immune system cells.

The immune system produces (antibodies) to protect your body from specific invaders.

Your immune system learns what the invaders are and kills them with antibodies it develops.

Chlorine is used to kill water borne diseases in our water the same chlorine kills the antibodies developed by the immune system.  Your immune system becomes weak and useless.

The immune system changes throughout your life.  Your immunization trains your immune system to make antibodies (good bacteria) to protect you from harmful diseases.  The immune system antibodies are made in your brain and nasal passage.

Adenoids.  Two glands located at the back of the nasal passage

Bone marrow.  The soft spongy tissue found in bone cavities

Lymph nodes.  Small organs shaped like beans, which are located throughout the body and connect via the lymphatic vessels.

Lymphatic vessels.  A network of channels throughout the body that carries lymphocytes to the lymphoid organs and blood stream.

Peyer’s patches.  Lymphoid tissue in the small intestine.

Spleen a fist sized organ located in the abdominal cavity.

Thymus.  Two lobes that join in front of the trachea behind the breastbone.

Tonsils two oval masses in the back of the throat.

We cannot exist without water for more than 3 days.

There is no reliable way to tell how quickly someone will die from dehydration.

Dehydration happens quickly.  Causing extreme fatigue and ultimately organ failure and death

Our body needs lots of clean and healthy water to carry out many essential functions.  Our whole life of our body is designed with the supply of clean and healthy water in our system.

Our 95 organs depend on an adequate supply of water we must have.

Foods we eat are sometimes not so healthy.  Grown using fertilizer and other growth enhancements can deliver pollutants to our body.  Water we consume by drinking water, bathing, and showering in chlorine treated water.

Water pollution is with us because of the way we have handled our water supply for many years.

Water can be the cause of many health problems.

Clean healthy water on the other hand is the biggest preventative and protection of health problems we develop.

People do not drink or consume enough water

Normal tap water tastes and smells of pollution.  When we are thirsty we do not drink enough to satisfy the requirements of our 95 organs.  Our 700 muscles, 206 bones in adults, 300 in children

Bones are made of 31% water.  Water in our bones mix with body nutrients keeping our joints lubricated.  Our tissues provide viaducts throughout our bodies.  Water uses these viaducts to maintain the health of our body.  One of these viaducts is called the interstitium organ.

The interstitium organ also has trillions of nerves housed within.

The nerve system in the interstitium is also the entire communication network.  Connecting our body to our brain.  The viaduct carrying the water in our body is a nano size water way.

When tap water or other uncleaned water is consumed, any foreign pollutants can cause the organ failure, knee and hip replacements hardening of the arteries.

Trihalomethanes (cancer causing agent).

The bottom line is

Consuming clean healthy water gives us a clean healthy body.  Our joints work longer in our life.

Our organs do not weaken from chemically treated water.

Chlorine causes hardening of the arteries.  With no chlorine there is not hardening of the arteries, caused by drinking water.

Treat your body with respect and healthy water your body will return the respect by keeping healthy![/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Function of Bodily Fluids” tab_id=”1593106040122-94246cfb-9e0b”][vc_column_text]The water we drink is absorbed by the intestines and circulated throughout the body in the form of body fluids such as blood, mucus, and elimination.  These perform various functions that keep us alive.  They deliver oxygen and nutrients to the cells, and take away waste materials, which are then eliminated with urination.

Our body has 95 organs.  Each has a specific duty.

Our organs work in a very complex and complicated system operating within our body.

Each organ has its own duty.  Each organ works hand in hand with all other organs while carrying out its duties.

All our body systems, organic, muscle, tissue, bones, even our brain functions on clean water to keep us healthy in our aging process from our birth to our death!

Water is distributed throughout our body within the 1000 trillion cells we are made of.

The cells delivery oxygen and nutrients to our organ and take away waste materials which are eliminated

Water makes body fluid that is our healthy and our very existence.

How does water transport in the body?  How are nutrients and water transported around the body?

Water molecules are then transported via blood circulation to be distributed all over the body, to the interstitial fluids and to cells.  Water moves freely in the interstitial compartment and moves across cell membranes via water specific channels, the aquaporins.  This allows for the maintenance of body water balance.

The circulatory system consists of your heart, blood, and blood vessels and works to regulate your bodily temperature.  When the body temperature rises, blood circulation to the skin increases, enabling heat dissipation though sweating this helping to keep your body at a constant temperature.

Nutrients are transported throughout your body through your blood via capillaries, tiny blood vessels that connect arteries to veins.  Nutrients, oxygen and wastes all pass in and out of your blood through the capillary walls
What are the sizes of water delivery capillaries systems:

The aorta branches into arteries, which eventually branch into smaller arterioles.  Arterioles carry blood and oxygen into the smallest blood vessels, the capillaries.  Capillaries are so small they can only be seen under a microscope.  The walls of the capillaries are permeable to oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Water is distributed throughout our body.  Through the 1000 trillion cells we are made of.

In order for the water to carry, mineral, nutrient and protein to our organs and bone system the water has to be clean and only have the mineral and nutrients to keep us healthy.

Tap water in 95% of the world water is too polluted to give water clean enough to keep us healthy. Dr. Price studies show Chlorine is the biggest crippler and killer in the world today.  95% of the world use chlorine to disinfect drinking water.  It is necessary to use chlorine to disinfect our water!  Clean your drinking water before you use it!  Pollutants that should be removed from our drinking water are:

[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Arthreosclerosis” tab_id=”1593035833825-fcbf3687-cd8b”][vc_column_text]Arteries are blood vessels that are lined with mucus which allows the blood to flow freely to all ends of your body.  Your blood has a 90% water content and carries the essential oxygen, nutrients, and minerals to ensure your entire body stays lubricated.

When chlorinated water is used in place of clean healthy water the chlorine changes the mucus into plaque and causes blockages, heart attacks, and strokes.

Hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis) is a disorder in which arteries (blood vessels that carry oxygenated blood from the heart to other parts of the body) become narrowed because fat (cholesterol deposits called atherosclerosis) is first deposited on the inside walls of the arteries, then becomes hardened by fibrous tissue and calcification (arteriosclerosis).  As this plaque grows, it narrows the lumen of the artery (the space in the artery tubes), thereby reducing both the oxygen and blood supply to the affected organ (like the heart, eyes, kidney, legs, gut, or the brain).  The plaque may eventually severely block the artery, causing the death of the tissue supplied by the artery, for example, heart attack or stroke.

When the arteries of the heart (coronary arteries) are affected by arteriosclerosis, the person can develop angina, heart attack, congestive heart failure, or abnormal cardiac rhythms (because of coronary artery disease). When the arteries of the brain (cerebral arteries) are affected by arteriosclerosis, the person can develop a threatened stroke, called transient ischemic attack, or actual death of brain tissue, called stroke.

Hardening of the arteries is a progressive condition that may begin in childhood. Fatty streaks can develop in the aorta (the largest blood vessel supplying blood to both the upper and lower part of the body) shortly after birth. In those people with a familial history of high cholesterol, the condition may worsen rapidly in the early 20s and progressively become more severe in the 40s and 50s.

In the United States and Canada, over 720,000 heart attacks occur annually. Nearly 380,000 people die annually from coronary heart disease.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Dehydration” tab_id=”1593035836972-f15494ef-a189″][vc_column_text]

Dehydration occurs when you use or lose more fluid than you take in, and your body doesn’t have enough water and other fluids to carry out its normal functions. If you don’t replace lost fluids, you will get dehydrated.

Anyone may become dehydrated, but the condition is especially dangerous for young children and older adults.

The most common cause of dehydration in young children is severe diarrhea and vomiting. Older adults naturally have a lower volume of water in their bodies, and may have conditions or take medications that increase the risk of dehydration.

This means that even minor illnesses, such as infections affecting the lungs or bladder, can result in dehydration in older adults.

Dehydration also can occur in any age group if you don’t drink enough water during hot weather — especially if you are exercising vigorously.

You can usually reverse mild to moderate dehydration by drinking more fluids, but severe dehydration needs immediate medical treatment.

Thirst isn’t always a reliable early indicator of the body’s need for water. Many people, particularly older adults, don’t feel thirsty until they’re already dehydrated. That’s why it’s important to increase water intake during hot weather or when you’re ill.

The signs and symptoms of dehydration also may differ by age.

Infant or young child

  • Dry mouth and tongue
  • No tears when crying
  • No wet diapers for three hours
  • Sunken eyes, cheeks
  • Sunken soft spot on top of skull
  • Listlessness or irritability

Adult

  • Extreme thirst
  • Less frequent urination
  • Dark-colored urine
  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Confusion

Scientists show the problem with unhealthy and polluted water from mans endeavor to create better living conditions, is the cause of all water pollutants.

In many parts of the world, people suffer and die from a lack of drinking water.  Fortunately, in the Canada this is not the case.  But, ironically, in Canada thousands can die from the chemicals added to the drinking water.

One of the most insidious, dangerous and harmful chemicals is chlorine – the chlorine added to shared water supplies.

Chlorine triggers the growth of abnormal cells leading to tumor development, both in atherosclerosis and cancer.  The origin or heart disease is akin to the origin to cancer.  Both can be linked to chlorine and the production of excess free radicals.

Dr. Joseph Price, a medical doctor, wrote a fascinating book in the late 1960’s entitled, Coronaries/Cholesterol/Chlorine.  He states, “The basic cause of atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and most forms of strokes is chlorine.  The chlorine contained in processed water.”

Many people are confused about cholesterol and its relationship to heart disease.  Recently, the results of a 10-year government funded research project conclusively linked heart disease to serum (blood) cholesterol levels.  Lowering serum cholesterol levels markedly reduces the number of fatal heart attacks.  So far so good but, 70% to 80% of all the cholesterol in our body is produced by the liver regardless of the dietary cholesterol intake.  In fact, researchers have shown that serum cholesterol levels in humans are, for the most part, independent of the dietary cholesterol intake.  In short, there appears to be no correlation between total dietary cholesterol intake and serum cholesterol levels.

What caused this tremendous increase in serum cholesterol levels?  Obviously, the addition of chlorine played a central role.  But what mechanism can explain how chlorine could trigger such an increase in Cholesterol levels?

Our body is made of 1000 trillion cells.  Each cell in the body has a nucleus which contains DNA – the chemical blueprint which determines cell replication.  Cells use the minerals and thousands of nutrients to build tissues.  Tissues build organs.  So, if our cells are healthy, we are healthy.  If they are malformed, we set the stage for illness.  Be kind and generous with your body and it will return the favor with longer healthy years

Now, chlorine and other chemical compounds in our drinking water create what’s called ‘free radicals’.  A free radical is a chemical by-product of metabolism that is “looking for an accident to happen.”  Free radicals behave like bullets flying indiscriminately and whatever they hit can become damaged or destroyed.  If our defence mechanism, our immune system is functioning properly, we can get rid of those radicals.  But, if our immune system is over loaded with excess free radicals, like it is when we drink chlorinated water or R/O water, we will have a very serious problem.  Free radicals can attack the cellular blueprint, alter it, and change it permanently.  These cells will continue to multiply abnormally creating serious illnesses which can appear in blood vessels, in the breast, the prostate, the pancreas, and anywhere on the body.

Chlorine causes excess free radicals.  Free radicals lead to cell damage.  Once the cells are damage, we see an elevation in serum cholesterol levels, atherosclerosis, and hardening of the arteries and plaque formation.  Chlorine can cause all these problems related to heart disease and can also be a cause of cancers.  With cancer, free radicals create malignant cells.

The plaque in atherosclerosis is essentially a benign tumor in the blood vessels.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Lead” tab_id=”1593036207018-d2b67892-08d5″][vc_column_text]When it comes to dangerous contaminants lurking in your water Lead is one of the most frequently discussed and oddly enough widely accepted.

We now know that low level and short-term exposure of lead can lead to abdominal pain, constipation, headaches, irritability, memory loss, and pain or tingling in the hands and feet.  At high level exposure it causes anemia, weakness, kidney and brain damage.  Lead attacks the most fundamental aspect of the brain – the synapse where irreversible damage can occur; sometimes causing seizures, unconsciousness, and even death.

If we look at the example of the Flint, Michigan water crisis.  On April 25, 2014 officials switched the water supply to the Flint River as a cost-cutting measure for the struggling city.  In doing so, they unwittingly introduced lead-poisoned water into homes.  This became a massive public-health crisis.  The water in the Flint River has high levels of chlorides (thought to be the result of, in part, road salt), making it highly corrosive to lead pipes.  Chlorides do not pose a direct threat to fish, wildlife, or humans, but cause problems because they corrode lead and other metals in piping and plumbing.

The actionable level for lead in drinking water is 15 ppb, a portion of the amount of lead is considered “safe” this level is actually only half the amount that can be found in our local water sources across Canada.

Generally, lead will affect children more than it does adults as they are particularly venerable to the toxic effects and can suffer profound and permanent adverse health effects.  Children tend to show signs of severe lead toxicity at lower levels than adults.  Neurological effects and mental retardation have also occurred in children whose parents may have job-related lead exposure simply from their parents accidentally bringing home lead dust on their clothing.

Furthermore, pregnant women need to be aware that lead can cross through the placental barrier and cause damage to the developing baby’s nervous system.  This type of poisoning, lead poisoning will affect developmental behaviour and level of intelligence.  It has also been known to cause miscarriages, still births, and infertility.

The reason lead is such a toxic substance is due to how our body handles it.  The lead is stored in our body after exposure which creates an ongoing and ever-increasing danger of exposure.  As we age, our bones naturally demineralise (often happening earlier in dehydrated people).  These natural releases from the bone tissue increase with age leading to concerns that lead may mobilize from the bone among women undergoing menopause.  Post-menopausal women have been found to have higher blood lead levels than premenopausal women.

The internal exposure is worse as lead stays in the body for a long time and the releases of lead are larger as the bone tissue decreases over time.  Lead can stay in the blood for months, whereas; the lead in bone tissues can remain for 30 years.  The more lead you are exposed to, the more likely you are to get lead poisoned.  As symptoms occur slowly, or may be caused by other things, lead poisoning can be easily overlooked.

Research will show that the type or method of exposure doesn’t change the health effects; however, the body absorbs higher levels of lead when inhaled.

Tests in 2015 by the EPA and Virginia Tech indicated dangerous levels of lead in the water at resident’s homes.  For seven years the state oversight prompted dozens of lawsuits and criminal charges against former government officials.

EPA Awarded 100 Million to Michigan for Flint Water Infrastructure Upgrades.  The funding provided by the water infrastructure improvements for the Nation, (WIIN) Act of 2016, enabled flint to accelerate and expand its work to replace lead service lines and make other critical infrastructure improvements.  This means Flint is in the process of replacing all of its old lead water pipes, a task the city estimates will cost about $55m.

We have somehow become complaisant in our action to remove or protect our families from this noxious poison.  Lead consumption can affect the heart kidneys and nerves.  Unhealthy effects of lead exposure in children include impaired cognition, behavioural disorders, hearing problems and delayed puberty.

Increases in kidney cancer weakened skeletal and muscular systems, irreversible brain damage, and the numerous other health concerns listed here make this carcinogen an incredible threat.  Even though the state provides free water filters to Flint residents to reduce lead levels, it can be understood why many residents still won’t drink their tap water.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Trihalomethanes” tab_id=”1593037118145-eff13dcc-7b9d”][vc_column_text]In the chlorination process itself chlorine combines with natural organic matter, such as decaying vegetation, to form potent, cancer causing trihalomethanes or haloforms.  Trihalomethanes, commonly abbreviated THM’s, collectively include such cancer-causing agents as chloroforms, bromoform, carbon tectachloride and many others.

Although the maximum amount of THM’s allowed by law is 100ppb, a 1976 EPA study showed municipal water systems exceeded this limit.  100ppb of THM’s is too much.  The safest approach is to have no Trihalomethanes, cancer-causing agents, in our drinking water.

The proliferation of chemicals in our drinking water is staggering.  There are over 120,000 chemicals used in this country every day.  In 1975, the number of chemical contaminants found in finished drinking water exceeded 300.  Less than 10 years later the chemical contamination significantly increased 7000 chemicals found in our drinking water and today, 30 years later, they are finding over 2500 chemicals directly threatening our health.  The EPA has targeted 169 as posing the greatest threat but only requires our water source to test for detection of 14 specific chemicals.

This is RISKY business.

Studies in several locations throughout the U.S. revealed that high levels of haloforms or THM’s in peoples’ drinking water resulted in higher levels of cancer.

“Chlorine is so dangerous.” According to biologist/chemist Dr. Herbert Schwartz, “that it should be banned.”  He states, “Putting chlorine in the water is like starting a time bomb.  Cancer, heart trouble, premature senility, both mental and physical, are conditions attributable to chlorine, treated water supplies.  It is making us grow old before our time by producing symptoms of aging such as hardening of the arteries.  If chlorine were now proposed for the first time to be used in drinking water, it would be banned by the food and Drug Administration.”

Drinking chlorinated water is hazardous, if not deadly, to our health.  It is as simple as that.  Chlorine in our drinking water creates Trihalomethanes and haloforms.  These potent chemical pollutants trigger the production of excess free radicals causing the body to produce cells that are deformed.  We do not wake up one morning with heart disease or cancer.  These degenerative diseases take years of constant insult to injury to develop.  Many doctors estimate the formation of plaque and the hardening of the arteries leading to heart disease can take 10-20 years, and cancer takes 20 to 30 years to develop.  Day by day, we continually drink chlorinated water adding excess free radicals to our bodies which can lead to our cells duplicating into new cancer cells and continue to duplicate as cancer cells.  Replicated cells develop malfunctioning organs and even destroy organs.  The origin of heart disease is akin to the origin of cancer.  Both can have their basis in free radical damage.

It is expressed as the equivalent quantity of calcium carbonate. Scale formation and excessive soap consumption are the main concerns with hardness. When heated, hard waters have a tendency to form scale deposits. This is a familiar problem in the teakettles and water heaters of homes with this problem.

Depending on the interaction of other factors such as pH and alkalinity, hardness levels between 80 and 100 mg/L are considered to provide an acceptable balance between corrosion and incrustation. Water supplies with a hardness greater than 200 mg/L are considered poor but tolerable; those in excess of 500 mg/L are unacceptable for most domestic purposes.

G.A.C. removes chlorine and thousands of chemicals and other pollutants.  Such as:  Trihalomethanes (TMS), heavy metals, and so many more unhealthy pollutants from the drinking water.

Butler researched many types of carbon made from different materials.  Carbon is made from raw materials by being put into ovens and made into charcoal (carbon).  More studies and research found that different materials made into carbon, have different sizes of screening ability.  Granulated Activated Carbon made from coconut shell is the latest carbon and has been scientifically proven!

Through his research and the use of carbon, Butler put together a pollution removing system that cleans all pollutants from the water.  At the same time it leaves all of the healthy minerals and nutrients people need every day.  Minerals that are vital for our good health.

Butler invented and patented what is known as an Iodinator.  The Iodinator was developed to kill bacteria that have become immune to chlorine or chloramine.  The iodinator is a must for water filters in the home!

Drinking water is the biggest concern of Governments and health authorities in every country around the world.  Northern Water Cleaners have been in water research for over 60 years with successful results.

We’ve realized how important clean water is to your bodily health and we have a clear and positive solution to cleaning the chemicals and contaminants out of your water and keeping your family healthy.

Our main concern is the quality of water and service you deserve.  Northern Water Cleaners are proud of the demand for clean water they have received from many countries all over the world and we want everyone to ENJOY THEIR WATER![/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Cleaning Water Across the World” tab_id=”1593102228883-b93029a2-c518″][vc_column_text]We have taken several hundred water cleaners to Haiti after their 2010 7.0 Earthquake.  We have cleaners in Africa, Europe, Asia, and USA and yes right here in Canada.

We are also cleaning First Nations Water across Canada.

Read this program and by reading you will learn what Northern Water Cleaners are all about. Take the time to understand it.  Know what is in your water and what clean, healthy water does for our lives.  Everyone needs at least 6-8 glasses of water each and every day.  People use other beverages in an attempt to quench their thirst.  They choose other drinking water by using other drinks to keep themselves hydrated; however, this creates an unending cycle of dehydration and robs our organs of their ability to function properly.  Water is the essence that keeps our 95 organs functioning optimally.

You think you drink enough water; but you don’t!

Not only is 60% to 70% of our body comprised of water but ALL life needs water to live.

  1. It lubricates the joints: Our bones are comprised of 31% water; the joints’ cartilages contain 80% water.  A regularly hydrated body creates lubrication for these joints by mixing the nutrients in our bones and good clean water.  Long-term dehydration reduces the joints’ shock-absorbing ability, leading to joint pain, stiffness, and eventually the decline of mobility.
  2. It forms saliva and mucus: The body’s digestive system starts with the way we chew our food.  As we chew thoroughly our mucus glands produce lubrication.  This lubrication comes in several forms keeping our eyes, ears, nose, and mouth moist to prevent friction and damage.  Not only does this lubrication keep our mouths clean but also keeps the delivery of food and nutrients moving smoothly into the stomach and throughout the body.
  3. It delivers oxygen throughout the body: Our blood is the main transfer system to supply our body with oxygen and is made up of more than 90% of water.   We know that disease grows where oxygen doesn’t flow.  So in theory, a well lubricated body is a healthy disease free body.
  4. It boosts skin health and beauty: Our skin contains two types of pores.  The oil pore plays a huge role in regulating moisture to our skin and the sweat pores maintain our bodily temperature.  Over time the use of un-cleaned water can cause skin irritation, acne, eczema, and premature wrinkling or aging.
  5. It cushions the brain, spinal cord, and other sensitive tissues: Our brains are the epic-center for hormone and neurotransmitter creation.  Delivering signals to and from the brain to the rest of the body is an essential function requiring proper levels of hydration.  As our body begins to dehydrate our brain to lose the ability to think logically, focus, and reason.  Cognitive performance, mobility, mood, and memory retention (short and long term) improve drastically as you take in clean healthy water.
  6. It regulates body temperature: Water that is stored in the middle layers of the skin rises to the skin’s surface as sweat when the body heats up.  As it evaporates, it cools the body.  It has been suggested that when there is too little water in the body, heat storage increases and the individual is less able to tolerate heat strain.  Having a good reserve of water in the body may reduce physical strain if heat stress occurs during exercise.  However, more research is needed into these effects.
  7. The digestive system depends on it: Much of our water absorption comes from our large intestine. The way we can provide our digestive system with proper hydration and that’s through drinking the chemical-free water.  Knowing when to drink your water is important as well.  Drink water before and after meals to prevent heartburn, and drinking 1-2 litres of water each day can prevent peptic stomach ulcers.
  8. It flushes body waste: A large part of our digestive system is the flushing of toxins and body waste.  Problems begin to develop when you’re not supplying your body with the water intake it needs.  It will begin to leach the moisture from your food waste causing harder stool and internal discomfort in the form of infection and/or constipation.
  9. It helps maintain blood pressure: Chronic dehydration can cause higher blood pressure.  The dehydration can trigger a hormone response that will signal the kidneys to reabsorb sodium, increasing thirst.  This increase in thirst and water intake can cause arteries to constrict and blood pressure to increase.    Proper hydration will prevent these chronic conditions from developing.
  10. The airways need it: Your respiratory system contains 90% water and is reliant on a steady water supply.  Regular water intake will keep the mucus lining in your airways thin.  As you begin to dehydrate your mucus lining will thicken and become sticky slowing down your breathing and making you more susceptible to allergens, illness and respiratory issues such as asthma.
  11. It makes minerals and nutrients accessible: Ensuring you are providing your body with good healthy drinking water is essential to absorbing the adequate amount of minerals and nutrients.  Throughout our body is a newly discovered organ referred to as the interstitium.  This organ carries sacks of fluid throughout the body allowing the body to digest or absorb essential minerals and nutrients.  Unfortunately, Reverse Osmosis water will not provide the interstitium and your entire body with the nutrients it requires.  The process of Reverse Osmosis will remove the minerals and nutrients.  Healthy water is the key to a healthy body.
  12. It prevents kidney damage: Kidney stones form less easily if there has been an appropriate water intake. As we keep our fluid intake moving our kidneys are less likely to form stones.  The water prevents crystals from gathering together and causing discomfort and kidney damage.
  13. It boosts performance during exercise: As we become dehydrated our bodies begin to tire more quickly slowing us down and becoming lethargic.  So it stands to reason that as our body remains hydrated and at optimal performance we are motivated to move in ways that increase activity and pump more water through our muscles, organs, brain, and skin.
  14. Weight loss: Optimal levels of hydration not only prevents unnecessary cravings for sugary drinks, sweetened juices, and soda’s; but also helps to regulate hormones helping reduce the chance of emotional eating.  Preloading our digestive system with water before meals can help to prevent overeating.
  15. It reduces the chance of a hangover: The flushing of toxins is yet another crucial component of keeping your body moving well, staying hormonally balanced, and warding off infection or discomfort from a dehydrated body.

Unfortunately, this process doesn’t nourish our bodies instead depletes the mineral and nutrient quality of your body.

That being said there are some situations that call for Reverse Osmosis systems – and we do sell them in rural settings but do not recommend for people living in cities and having water supplied through the shared water treatment plants.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Researching Distilled Water” tab_id=”1593106570353-f31bf58d-e465″][vc_column_text]Butler looked at Distillation and discounted it effectiveness once he found that Distillation allows chemicals to come through the distiller and does not not let the healthy minerals pass.[/vc_column_text][vc_widget_sidebar][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
